In the first quarter of 2025, the casual gaming scene on iOS in Norway showcased interesting trends. Here's a look at how the top five games performed, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Township by Playrix had a dynamic quarter. Weekly revenue fluctuated, peaking at around $28K at the end of March. Downloads saw a significant drop from 5.3K to 1.7K, while active users decreased from 20.7K to 18.1K.

Chess - Play & Learn from Chess.com experienced a decline in downloads from 5K to 758. Revenue started strong at $30K in early January but decreased to approximately $10K by the end of March. Active users followed a downward trend from 67.7K to 45.9K.

Offline Games - No Wifi Games by Moreno Maio showed stable performance. Revenue remained low around $200 weekly. Downloads varied, starting at 2.9K, dipping mid-quarter, and ending at 1.7K. Active users decreased from 17.6K to 14.3K.

Gardenscapes, another title from Playrix, maintained a strong revenue presence, peaking at $42K in March. Downloads, however, dropped significantly from 2.2K to 674. Active users also saw a decline from 18.7K to 15K.

Gossip Harbor®: Merge & Story by Microfun Limited had a revenue increase, reaching $37.6K mid-March. Downloads started at 1.4K and fell to 574, whereas active users showed variability, peaking at 10.9K in mid-February.
